Mr. Kintaro Ueno
The Japan Automobile Importers Association (JAIA) held on Monday, December 10, 2012, the 8th meeting in FY 2012 of the Board of Directors, approving retirement of Mr. Nicholas Speed as Chairman of the Association as of the end of January 2013 and appointment of Mr. Kintaro Ueno (President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Japan) as the succeeding director and chairman.
Mr. Ueno will assume the position as Director and Chairman as of Friday, February 1, 2013. His term of office will last until the end of the General Assembly of May 2014.
