At its third Board of Directors meeting of fiscal year 2009 held on Thursday, February 25, 2010, Japan Automobile Importers Association (JAIA) appointed Mr. Roland Kru”ger (JAIA Director and President & Representative Director of BMW Japan Corp.) as the new chairman, succeeding ongoing chairman Mr. Hans Tempel, who is stepping down as of the end of February.

Mr. Kru”ger will assume position as chairman as of Monday, March 1, 2010.
