【Registered vehicles】

  The number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers newly registered during the first half of FY 2008 (from April to September 2008) amounted to 96,120 units, a decrease by 13.5% compared with that of FY 2007(111,163).
  The total number of vehicles newly registered during the period including the vehicles produced overeas by Japanese manufacturers amounted to 107,441 units, a decrease by 18.7% compared with that of FY 2007 (132,109).
