Newly Registered Number of Imported Vehicle as of August 2008

  The number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers newly registered in August 2008 was 10,316 units, decreased by 28.4% compared with the same month of last year (14,406units). The cumulative total since January 2008 was 130,318 units, decreased by 11.5% compared with the same period of last year (147,286 units).
  The total number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers and Japanese manufacturers newly registered in August, was 11,676 units, decreased by 35.5% compared with the same month of last year (18,096 units). The cumulative total since January 2008 was 147,906 units, decreased by 12.3% compared with the same period of last year   (168,664 units).
