  The number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers newly registered during the first half of FY 2007 (from April to September 2007) amounted to 111,163 units, an decreased by 6.8% compared with that of FY 2006(119,224).
  The total number of vehicles newly registered during the period including the vehicles produced overeas by Japanese manufacturers amounted to 132,109 units, increased by 3.8% compared with that of FY 2006 (127,214).
