  The number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers newly registered in August 2007 was 14,406 units,decreased by 5.5% compared with the same month of last year (15,249units). The cumulative total since January2007 was 147,286 units, decreased by 8.5% compared with the same period of last year (160,935 units).
  The total number of vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers and Japanese manufacturers newly registered inAugust, was 18,096 units, increased by 9.1% compared with the same month of last year (16,588 units). Thecumulative total since January 2007 was 168,664 units, decreased by 1.7% compared with the same period of lastyear (171,580 units).
