  The number of newly registered imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers during May 2005 was 19,246 units andincreased by 13.2% compared with the same month of last year (17,004units). The cumulative total since January2005 was 98,843 units and increased by 2.9% compared with the same period of last year (96,011 units).
  The total number of newly registered imported vehicles during May, including vehicles produced in overseas byJapanese manufacturers, was 20,606 units and increased by 5.5% compared with the same month of last year (19,535units). The cumulative total since January 2005 was 106,876 units and decreased by 3.4% compared with the sameperiod of last year (110,636 units).
