【Registered vehicles】

  Imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers newly registered during the first half of FY 2004 (from April to September 2004) amounted to 118,484 units, an increase by 0.7% compared with that of FY 2003(117,649).
  Total number of imported vehicles newly registered during the period including the vehicles produced overseas by Japanese manufacturers amounted to 131,990 units, an increase by 0.5% compared with that of FY 2003 (131,307).

   The sales number of imported mini vehicles of foreign manufacturers during first half of FY 2004 (from April to September 2004) was 586 units, a decrease by 49.2% compared with that of FY 2003 (1,153).
