【Registered vehicles】

  Imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers newly registered during the first half of FY 2003 (from April to September 2003) amounted to 117,649 units, a decrease by 10.3% compared with that of FY 2002(131,153).
  Total number of imported vehicles newly registered during the period including the vehicles produced overseas by Japanese manufacturers amounted to 131,307 units, a decrease by 5.1% compared with that of FY 2002 (138,389).
