Sales Number of Imported Vehicles during March 2003

【Registered vehicles】
  The number of newly registered imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers during March 2003 was 32,759 units and　decreased by 2.0% compared with the same month of last year (33,444units). The cumulative total since January　2003 was 65,218 units and decreased by 1.9% compared with the same period of last year (66,498 units).
　The total number of newly registered imported vehicles during March, including vehicles produced in overseas　by Japanese manufacturers, was 36,658 units and increased by 3.9% compared with the same month of last year　(35,294 units). The cumulative total since January 2003 was 72,739 units and increased by 3.3% compared with the　same period of last year (70,423 units).

  The sales number of imported mini vehicles of foreign manufacturers during March 2003 was 391 units and increased by 3.7 % compared with the same month of last year( 377 units).
  The cumulative total since January　2003 was 663 units and decreased by 49.1 % compared with the same period of last year( 1,302 units).
