Newly Registered Imported Vehicles during August 2001

 
  The number of newly registered imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers during August 2001 was 17,861 unitsand increased by 6.4% compared with the same month of last year (16,789units). The cumulative total since January2001 was 172,188 units and increased by 4.7% compared with the same period of last year (164,513 units).
  The total number of newly registered imported vehicles during August, including vehicles produced in overseasby Japanese manufacturers, was 18,890 units and increased by 4.0% compared with the same month of last year(18,157 units). The cumulative total since January 2001 was 181,924 units and increased by 1.6% compared with thesame period of last year (179,098 units).
