Imported Vehicles Registered
During  December 2000

  The new sales registration of imported vehicles produced by foreign manufacturers during December 2000 amounted to 25,764 units, a decrease of 6.2% compared with 27,455 units of the same month last year. The cumulative total number since January 2000 was 255,482, an increase of 1.3% compared with 252,181 of the same period last year.
  The new sales registration of imported vehicles including vehicles produced overseas by Japanese manufacturers during the month totaled 27,091 units, a decrease of 6.7% compared with 29,048 units of the same month last year. The cumulative total number since January 2000 was 275,452, a decrease of 1.0% compared with 278,225 of the same period last year.
