During the first half of FY 2000 (Quick Report)

Imported vehicles of foreign manufacturers newly registered during first half of FY 2000 (from April to September 2000) amounted to 124,623 units, an increase by 1.2% compared with that of FY 1999 (123,197).
Total number of imported vehicles newly registered during the period including the vehicles produced overseas by Japanese manufacturers amounted to 135,762, an increase by 0.3% compared with that of FY 1999 (135,345).
